Early Giving opens Wednesday, January 29
|
The countdown is on! It’s time to get your Amplify Austin Day 2025 Giving Day profile in tip-top shape before we open Early Giving next week.
What is Early Giving?
Early Giving is the 5 week period before Amplify Austin Day where your organization (including your Fundraising Champions) can start accepting donations that will count towards your official 2025 Amplify Austin Day total, as well as count towards prizes and Amplify Fund matches.
Do I have to start my campaign on January 29?
You do not have to start your campaign that day, but if you are trying to win an Early Giving prize, you should! You can start your campaign any time after we open Early Giving, and most organizations will have kicked off by mid February.
What do I need to do to prepare?
First, make sure you are approved for participation in Amplify Austin Day 2025 by logging into GiveGab. If you are missing documents or a payment, you may still be pending or in review. Next, make sure your Giving Day profile is updated with a cover photo, a story, a logo, and a thank you message. And
finally, make sure you brush up on training and resources in the nonprofit toolkit, so you can plan to have your best Amplify Austin Day yet!

What are offline donations? |
Offline gifts are donations made to your Amplify Austin Day campaign outside of the
AmplifyATX.org website. This includes gifts made through a Donor-Advised Fund, an IRA
charitable rollover, appreciated stock, ACH/Wire, cash, or a regular check. There is a 7% fee for gifts made offline (versus around 9% for online donations), and donors can still opt to cover the fee if they would like to do so.
Any gifts made through this process must be made directly to I Live Here I Give Here by 1 pm on March 4, 2025 and be accompanied by the offline donation form.
