All About Donor Advised Funds on Amplify Austin Day |
|
Donors have the option of making a gift on Amplify Austin Day in a variety of ways. One of these ways is through a Donor advised fund (DAF). If a donor chooses to do this, there are two ways they can go about it.
Donor advised funds through the Austin Community Foundation, Shalom Austin Jewish Foundation, or Central Texas Community Foundation MUST be made through the AmplifyATX.org website. This is done during the regular checkout process.
If your donor has a DAF at another institution, they must follow our offline gift process. Please note, all offline gifts:
-
must be made to I Live Here I Give Here (not your organization)
-
must be accompanied by the offline gift form
-
must be received by 1 pm on March 3
-
Incur a 7% processing fee, which your donor can cover if desired
Because donor advised funds take time to process, we recommend your donor initiates the process by February 17, 2026 so that the donation is received by I Live Here I Give Here by March 3 |
