2025 Amplify Austin Day Prizes

Prizes are an Amplify Austin Day tradition! I Live Here I Give Here raises money for the Amplify Fund, and part of that fund is dedicated to incentives like prizes. Prizes are a great tool to inspire and rally your supporters.

Two new prizes we are very excited about this year are the Board Participation Prize and the All Volunteer Run Nonprofit Prize. We’ve also expanded the hours for Hourly Prizes.

Board Participation Prize

Four $1000 prizes, one per each size category, will be awarded to nonprofits who have 100% participation from their board of directors. This is a prize drawing and requires entry before March 5 at 6 pm.

All Volunteer Run Nonprofit Prize

Two $1000 prizes will be awarded to nonprofits with no paid staff for achieving the following. Nonprofits may only win one of these prizes.

1 Prize for most dollars raised between Early Giving through 6 pm on March 6.
1 Prize for most donors between Early Giving through 6 pm on March 6.

Last Chance to Get Yard Signs

Back by popular demand, Build A Sign is generously donating double-sided yard signs to help promote Amplify Austin Day. You can sign up for as many as you'd like by Friday, January 17.

New this year, we are including the option to order stickers so you can customize your yard signs to promote your nonprofit's participation.

You will be notified by email when the yard signs are ready for pick up at our office. We are aiming for them to be ready sometime at the end of January or early February.

Join I Live Here I Give Here for our annual gathering as we kick off Amplify Austin Day season! One drink ticket per person and light snacks will be provided. Please limit your RSVP to one person from your organization so we can accommodate as many members as possible. We hope to see you there!

Join Giant Squid Group’s Amplify Austin Day Crash Course

Get your Amplify Austin Day campaign up and running, with support along the way! Local consultants at Giant Squid Group are here to help with their Amplify Austin Day Crash Course, with a special focus on peer to peer fundraising. The course meets virtually at noon on Mondays starting January 27 through March 10.

Submit Your Events to our Nonprofit Calendar

We are excited to announce that we have launched a new event calendar to help better showcase and promote nonprofit events across Central Texas! The new calendar will replace our monthly event Round Up posts and enable users to search, discover, RSVP to your events.

With this new calendar, we also have a new process for submitting your events. You can follow the instructions here to add an event to the calendar at any time. We will review and publish your newly submitted events on a weekly basis.

As this is a brand new tool, we welcome your feedback so we can continue to make optimizations.
